The EBOA is again proud to take part in the annual ‘Call a Foul on Cancer’ whistle campaign. The cost will be $10.00 per whistle.

The ‘Call A Foul On Cancer’ Pink Whistle Campaign strives to raise funds for the Alberta branch of the Canadian Cancer Society. Participating EBOA Officials will be wearing ‘Pink Whistles’ from February 12-29 to show their support during all levels of basketball in the province. We would love to surpass last year’s donations.

With your help and generosity, our donations through this campaign help fund cancer research, patient care, and treatments. Knowing that 1 in 3 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, it’s distressing to think that the disease will most likely affect a loved one or close friend.

All EBOA members are automatically signed up! However, if you wish, you may opt out. To do so you must send Teigan Lawton an email at teiganlawton@yahoo.com prior to February 1, 2012 with, ‘Opt out of Pink Whistle campaign’ in the subject line.

Officials who wish to pick up their whistle can email Teigan for arrangements.

With High School tournaments about to begin, please remember to update your availability in Arbiter.

If you are NOT available for daytime games, please let your calendar reflect that fact.

With the high school tournament season coming up, this will be a big help.
